How to Prepare for a Boudoir Session

April 1, 2020

Ok ladies, if you didn’t know.. I am a SUPER fan of boudoir sessions. I could write out 1,000 reasons why you should do one but I’ll save that for a different time. This post is for those of you who have an upcoming boudoir session (or even if you’re just thinking about it). Here are things to think about, do, & what not to do. Make sure to comment with any questions you have so that I can see if there is anything that I left out!

1. Find the right photographer.

Don’t think that all boudoir photographers are the same. Do your research. I’m known to have fun (& cuss a little when I’m excited)! I like to laugh with you while celebrating your sexiness. My goal is to bring out your personality. I almost always get my favorite shots when I capture you being yourself! If you wanted a more serious and dramatic session, I may not be the one for you. Finding a photographer you mesh well with can also help make you less nervous. This will result in much better photos.
